This is a gift for the Geeks! Most of what Google does is a big secret but founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin actually set out much of how Google works in a paper that they wrote while doing their PHD. (Google was created during their time at Stanford University) We've uncovered the paper in its entirety. You'll need six PHDs to understand some of this but it provides a fascinating insight into the early days of the world's most successful internet company.
